Sixteen
workers are killed a day in America because of reckless negligence
by employers. Companies that kill their workers get a slap on the
wrist, or walk away scot-free.
Congress needs to crack down on these killer employers and put rules
in place that actually protect workers.

Teamsters Joint
Council No. 73 and the FDNYwill be participating in transporting ex-POWs
from WWII to Washington DC from December 3rd thru December 6th, 2009.
Grants
of $1,500.00 yearly for four-year period are available to four qualified
applicants (children of Joint Council No. 73 members, or their legal
guardians) for their college education. Once an award is given to a
student, a satisfactory academic record must be maintained to ensure its
continuance.
